Why we collect personal data and the kind of information we collect

Below you will find information about personal data collected, and why we do this.

Entry into and effectuation of agreements
We process personal data where necessary to effectuate agreements we enter into, such as agreements with customers, suppliers and other partners. This normally applies to various contact information such as names, telephone numbers, addresses and digital addresses, but may include other types of information. The legal basis for the processing is normally Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 1b because such processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations.

E-mail and phone response
We also respond to inquiries that come to us by e-mail or phone. In this regard, we may store personal data as a result of the inquiry in order to follow up the inquiry. This is normally information about your name, telephone number, address and e-mail. The processing of personal data is undertaken in accordance with Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 1b (because it is necessary in order to fulfil an agreement).

Publication of job advertisements
When publishing a job advertisement, we will process personal data about those who apply for the position with us. The processing of personal data is necessary to assess applications, select candidates, and provide feedback to the candidates, and will be carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation 1b, because such processing is necessary for us to carry out recruitment processes. If we wish to retain an application for use in future recruitment processes, we will first ask for consent from the data subject pursuant to Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation 1a.

We also receive open applications from interested applicants. We will keep the open applications for up to one (1) year. If we wish to keep the application longer, we will ask for the consent of the candidate for this.

Other processing
In some cases, we may collect contact information about people representing people or people at businesses we wish to get in touch with. In such cases, the processing of personal data will be based on a balancing of interests pursuant to Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation 1f. We emphasize that such processing will only take place in exceptional cases and never as part of a general marketing campaign. The personal data processed will be limited to public contact information.

Visits to our website
We do not currently use cookies on our websites. This means that we do not collect any information via our website other than the information you provide when contacting us.

Disclosure of personal data to others

We do not disclose personal data to third parties unless it is necessary for the fulfilment of our assignment or we have any other legal basis for such disclosure.

We have entered into data processing agreements with the service providers we use, cf. Article 28 of the Regulation. This applies, among other things, to suppliers of case management systems and IT systems. For security reasons, we only provide names of suppliers on direct application to us.

As part of the fulfilment of the agreement with us, our service providers will be able to process personal data on our behalf, but then in accordance with our instructions and the data processing agreement entered into. We are committed to ensuring that our data processors take privacy seriously and impose strict requirements on the suppliers we use. The individual data processors may only use subcontractors if the data processing agreement allows for this. Subcontractors shall always be subject to the same requirements as those specified in the data processing agreement with us.

All processing of personal data that we carry out takes place within the EU/EEA area.

Storage

We store your personal data with us for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data was collected, or longer if this is required or permitted by applicable law, or with the consent of the data subject. The above means that in some cases we store personal data even after an agreement has ended. Typical examples are if there has arisen, or there is a risk of disagreement, in the event of a claim or where the bookkeeping rules impose it on us. Personal data that we process on the basis of your consent is deleted if you withdraw your consent.

Your rights when we process personal data about you

You have the right to access or receive a copy of personal data we have registered about you.

If you believe that the personal data held on you is incorrect or inaccurate, you can contact us and demand that the information be corrected. Unless continued processing of the data is necessary or lawful, you can also request that we delete registered data. If the processing of the data is based on consent, please note that you can withdraw your consent at any time.
